 Returns and Exchange Policy Summary (UK Consumer Law)

The returns policy strictly distinguishes between customised and standard items:

  • Custom/Personalised Items: Due to the bespoke nature, these items are final sale and non-returnable once production has begun, as allowed by the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations.

  • Standard (Non-Custom) Items: Customers buying online have a 14-day 'cooling-off period' under UK law, starting the day after they receive the goods, during which they can cancel the order for any reason. Once the intent to return is communicated, the customer has a further 14 days to return the merchandise. Rbellished accepts returns if the item is unused and in its original, resalable condition. If the return is not due to a defect or error by Rbellished, the customer is responsible for arranging and paying for the return freight. A handling/restocking fee (e.g., 20%) is applied to non-defective standard returns to cover administrative costs.   

4.3. Handling Damages or Defects (Consumer Rights Act 2015)

If an order arrives damaged in transit or is defective, Rbellished guarantees a swift resolution in compliance with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

  • Within 30 Days of Receipt: If the item (custom or standard) is faulty, not as described, or unfit for purpose, the customer has the short-term right to reject the goods and claim a full refund.

  • After 30 Days and up to Six Months: The customer is entitled to request a repair or replacement, and Rbellished must provide this (unless the cost is disproportionate or the customer agrees to a partial refund instead). Rbellished would need to prove the item was not faulty at the time of purchase if a dispute arose.

Customers must notify the company immediately (e.g., within 48 hours of delivery) and provide supporting photographic evidence of the damage. If the damage is confirmed to be the fault of the shipping carrier or a manufacturing error, Rbellished will bear the full cost of replacing the item, including all associated shipping charges.
